Duran Duran are a new wave and electro-pop band from Birmingham. Formed in 1978, the band are recognised globally as one of the most successful acts to emerge from the 1980s.

The band released their self-titled debut album in 1980, which hit #3 on the UK Albums Chart and remained in the charts for 118 weeks! They swiftly followed with 'Rio' in 1982, which reached #2 and contained the hit singles Hungry Like The Wolf and Save A Prayer. They have since put out a further 12 studio albums, with their most recent release being 2015's 'Paper Gods'.

Having sold more than 80 million records worldwide, Duran Duran have always been an unstoppable force, with no fewer than five prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards under their belts.
